Not long time ago, in May 2021, I was invited to join the UMA Discord. I was told that the community needs content creators and is oozing good vibes and camaraderie. I joined and ... this is how the story of the SuperUMAns begins!
The SuperUMAns were born from an idea, as a group that will work as an unite... an Absolute Unite... towards the common goals. It started as a tag, and beneath the tag it was this idea ... a bulletproof idea for independence! In a little while, this gang of social ninja started to build a DAO!
With such brilliant minds, building a DAO was easy as eating a FruityCup. We were going in the right DAOrection and after countless DAOfication meetings, the mission, goals and values were designed.
The SuperUMAns DAO will have the core mission to communicate the true power of universal market access, and it's benefits, to the world. Attaining universal access to markets is like learning a language, and the purpose of the DAO will be to build knowledge, skills and culture to facilitate trustless financial instruments. The SU DAO took shape day by day and page by page. Countless hours in the Discord to create the perfect text that will define the SuperUMAns DAO, but the end product was perfect thanks to our top wraithers and scribes.
Everyone worked hard towards UMA tools integrations, and to boost the uINT value. Integration after integration was obtained, and the UMA Optimistic Oracle tracked the superUMAns activity by growing the uINT KPI Option with 0.1 per integrated tool. Some integrations were hard work, others were as easy as playing an EAsports game.

The first event I hosted was the #UMAPumpkin Carving Show-off. It was a demonstration of skills but not a competition, as the prize pool will be shared equally to all the participants! The name explained the purpose of the event ... to show-off the pumpkin skills! I had this logo created by ArtistByron and invited my colleagues to grab a knife and be creative.
The participants had to carve the superUMAns chicken logo on any fruit, as pumpkins are not available all over the world, The 300 uINT prize pool was shared equally to all the participants. The value of the prize pool had the potential to reach a maximum value of $7200, based on the number of integrations. Each of the18 participants received 16.666 $uINT, approximately $40 at $2.42 per uINT for Halloween Day. The gr8ness of KPI options is that they will improve value and this is exactly what happened with the prize from the UMA Pumpkin Show-Off. The uINT option expired yesterday with 7 integrations, the 16.666 uINT can be redeemed for 11.66 UMA - $108 as we speak!
UMA was an official degen sponsor for the POAPathon, offering $2000 worth of prizes. I had the honor to design the banner and even while being humble, I think I've done a good job.
The SuperUMAns DAO was built brick by brick, like glorious castles. King Clayton and his ambassador-knights in shiny armors kept integrating UMA tools for neighboring kingdoms. You can see the battle-marks on the shield, as the journey wasn't always SurfTranquille.
December was an active months, as everyone was caught in the Mide of the preparations. Some spent time Across, other pushed integrations, while I was bringing the holiday mood. The uDAO Candy Canes event was a way for holders of small amounts of uDAO and uTVL to contribute to charity.
This was open for UMAsters, SuperUMAns, Recruits and anyone other member in the UMA Discord who owned any amount of uDAO or uTVL. The two KPI options were collected for weeks and a big bag was ready for the Charity Chain Event.
NoKidsHungry will be the beneficiary of the UMA Candy Canes event, receiving UMA from the collected 71.13 uDAO and 300.24 uTVL. With uDAO claimable at 0.45 UMA per token and uTVL valued at 0.11 UMA per token .... the donated amount was over 650 USD. Big thank you to everyone involved!
NoKidsHungry is the best choice of charity, with a wide range of cryptocurrencies available for donations. Some of the Harvest Finance Yeoman, the Business Development guys, donated their earnings for the same cause and invited others in the campaign. Harvest_Finance, Babylon Finance, the SuperUmans and UMAprotocol answered the call, and an amazing timigraphicks POAP was added to motivate the donors.
The initial donation was $8300, and harvest_finance matched the amount. BabylonFinance and Bancor joined, while UMAprotocol donated an amount equal to what the SuperUmans raised. The unified effort will make a difference ... $34,000 were donated!
