Out of curiosity and the pursuit of earning some extra $$$ with my old laptop I started mining. Without any technical knowledge and thorough research I started mining LTC then decided to switch mining Doge hoping that it is much faster to mine.
It's been running for over a month now and obviously I'm just wasting my time, money to pay for electricity and the opportunity to use my laptop for other projects. Today I decided to stop mining with my old laptop and will just use it for blogging and other side gigs.
For newbies who want to know if they can still mine crypto currencies using their idling, dusty, and old laptops the answer is YES.
So to save some of your time, money, and effort and if you have the same specs of laptop I've mentioned above you can go ahead and start mining.
However, if you're are paying for electricity please don't. Keep in mind that if you are looking for some passive earnings or profits, there are other ways that you can use your laptop instead.
I'll be sharing some of my crypto projects that will give you some passive income with your old laptop.
Please note: I am not a financial expert and I am only sharing most of the things I do to earn passively. Listed below will not replace your current job earnings but will give you some ideas for earning passively.

I started lurking, reading articles and blogs, and tipping members only since November 2021 then decided to write my 1st post a few days ago and see what I've earned, what more if you regularly post your blogs. I'm just glad that I tried blogging, it makes me forget what's happening to the crypto market.

As the market continue to drop, and since I'm not into trading, what I am going to do is take this opportunity and think that it's a Crypto on Sale Season. Little by little I will add few more coins and buy low, HODL and will wait patiently.
