In my last article, I told you about the captcha not appearing problem I face on Faucetpay website. To find a solution I joined their official telegram group and posted about the problem I was having. Nobody knew what was causing the issue. So my problem still hasn't been solved. To my surprise, the admin of that group DM'd me and asked about my problem. I was quite surprised because in the group there is an announcement saying the admins will never DM you first. So with that suspicion, I chatted with that account. Then that person started to ask me for my personal details. I'm like what in the world do you need my personal details to fix a problem on your website?

So I began to dig deeper. I went to the group and found a message that the admin has posted. Then I opened up that profile and took a note of the username and went back to the private message I received and compared the username on it. Do you know what I found? The two usernames were identical except for one letter.

So I immediately stopped chatting with that scammer and confronted him/her. The scammer immediately deleted the chat and went away.

So my guys there are these opportunistic people in the world who try to take advantage even on your worst days. So please do your due diligence and never fall for those scammers. In my opinion, telegram is one of, if not The most infected messaging apps out there. It is infected with 1000s of scammers. so be careful when using it.
