Because my last article was some what sad and discouraging I thought to write this article on how you can afford expensive hobbies. To encourage you and to tell you that anything is possible if you put your mind into it. So let's get started on some tips that can hopefully help you afford your dream
hobbies. I will be telling you how to get things for your hobbies for less money and even for free. this won't be a 100% sure way but, hey they are worth a try.

Cut Back On Something You Don't Actually Need

Emphasize the word "need." Needs are things that you absolutely need to survive. "Wants" on the other hand, we can live without them. here's an example. We need to eat at least three times a day but we can skip that evening tea or coffee. you see where I'm going with this. you gonna have to sacrifice some comfort things in your life, not indefinitely but until you can afford the other things you want.

Monetize Your Hobby

Different hobbies can be monetized in different ways, your job is to figure out that way. I will tell you a few methods that should work for any hobby. Start a YouTube channel and document your progress. like-minded people will always watch your content and follow you. Teach people tips and tricks you learned throughout the years doing what you do. with time you will pass the requirements for Google Ad Sense and start making that ad money. until that day you can try selling your pet's offspring if your hobby involves breeding pets. or you can sell your art and handmade products on
websites like Etsy and eBay.

Friends And Family

Many people give up on their hobbies just because they have no time. they are busy with their jobs. that person can be your friend or a family member. Just ask if they have non-using items related to your hobby. For example, an aquarium has been neglected for years. You can offer them some money and some people just will be happy to give it to you for free. But don't bother them too much if they refuse your request as they can be planning
to restart the hobby. So, hey! don't get advantages from other people just because they are related to you. that's bad and unethical. be a good person.

Facebook Marketplace and Local Buy And Sell Websites

If you can't afford brand new, try your luck with used items. Facebook marketplace and local buy and sell websites are a goldmine for this. You will just have to dust off them and give them some love to make them look good. so browse through those marketplaces and find if there are items worth buying.
