A lot of people ask me which cryptos I'm passionate about and why, and over the small break for new years today I thought I'd compile a list of the main reasons I've invested into some of my portfolio options:

BTC/LTC - I've invested into Bitcoin and Litecoin because they let ME control my money, not banks or governments, only me.
XTZ - I've invested into Tezos because of its self-amending ledger technology, and how there is community involvement with changes to the blockchain.
ETH - I've invested into Ethereum because of the feature of being able to write programs that run on a blockchain
XLM - I've invested into Stellar because it allows people to send USD to any other country where it is immediately available to the receiver in their local currency.
ETN - I've invested into Electroneum because I want to give people that don't have access to traditional banks a way to store their wealth.
BAT - I've invested into Basic Attention Token because I believe we should be paid to see the ads we're subjected to everyday.

There's a lot more to each one of these, but these reasons are why I support these projects.
