Music Compilation #16 (Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah)

By stevea68 | SteveA | 10 Dec 2020

I played this song today and went to search for more renditions of it.  It's a beautiful song that seems to bring up a fascinating mix of feelings ... that I can't quite seem to untangle, but it's a pleasure to listen to in any case.

Here are a few videos for anyone else who enjoys it as well.

A live recording of the original version by Leonhard Cohen

Here's a rather unique interpretation with Andrea Bocelli.  He's got an excellent voice and puts emotion into practically everything he sings.

... and this was quite a nice find.  It's a collection of Celtic versions decorated with very nice accompanying images that seem to leave the feeling there's likely a lot of history behind them.

Good day or good night to you, as the case may be.

I'm limited to 510 characters for a description, so I'll waste a few making that comment. What else? There's a ton - are Big Bang and Cyclic Universe theories logical illusions? What forms of mathematics create beauty? Coffee, tea or a chocolate bar? ... or maybe what would an ideal partnership with someone be like? I'm both a "couch surfer" and explorer ... where might you like to go? I'm wishing us all the best.
