There are some common recurring things in mathematics that show deep connections between apparently diverse areas of logical phenomenon. This image is one I generated using some related techniques, though displaying the information differently, similar to showing the average density of particles flowing through a field of various forces. One of the first images I generated was made accidently from a mistake in the program but it turned out quite interesting and was even vaguely pornographic LOL. I printed it out at work and quickly flashed it to the receptionist at the time and she said "You can't print that out here!" ... I then proceeded to show her more closely it was just a mathematical algorithm that had generated it :)
Fun stuff - here's a different example of the general qualities of this type of image (I once saw an image someone else did which appeared to use a quite similar technique)

I eventually discovered some other techniques using ideas from the characteristics of frequencies and periods of intformation exchanged between pairs of deterministic finite automatons and came up with quite a range of fascinating images - many appeared to be 3D "worldish" and it got a bit crazier than that too ... but I've since put the ideas on a back burner to mull over what it all implies.
Here's a video related to the subject and it begins with the very simple Logistics Function/Equation, but he says it apparently relates to practically anything with negative feedback or constrained spaces - quite interesting.
