Phishing and cryptocurrencies - be careful where you click!


Many know, others do not even know what it is, and this makes them vulnerable not only their cryptocurrencies but also their passwords.

The most common and effective attack today is phishing, which is digital data theft. The word is a neologism created from English fishing, because that is what the criminal tries - to catch the victim by bait.

  • codes
  • links via email
  • fake website
  • propagated
  • among others

Let's cite advertising as a focal point. So if you've seen these types of ads, don't click it because it's a phishing attack:

We recently had the Binance exchange attack where one of the rumors was that some phishing infected clients caused that bitcoin loss and data leaks.

Binance has anti-phishing code that all users can enable for protection.

While many are careful, hackers have been successful in other ways, but do your part and protect yourself!
