G'day folks,
Just dropping in with a quick post to tie off some loose ends from our recent Auspol Engage2Earn election campaign here on Bulb and make sure everyone's caught up on the bigger picture we discussed last time.
Wrapping Up the Last Engage2Earn Missions
As the election dust settles, we've closed the books on the final few Engage2Earn missions that were running, including some longer multi-week ones. As a quick reminder, Engage2Earn was our system for rewarding community members with $AUSPOL for helping boost specific online content related to Aussie politics.
Unfortunately, the final multi-week missions mirrored the tough run we saw in Week 4 of the campaign. The results are in for these specific ones:
- "Auspol Follower Rush": FAILED (Targeting Bulb follower growth)
- "Auspol on the memecoin shill-dar?": FAILED (Targeting project visibility metrics)
- "Veterans Affairs Labor Repairs": FAILED (Targeting Veterans' Affairs content)
That means 0 $AUSPOL was unlocked from these final specific missions. It seems that as the election reached its peak, community focus understandably shifted, making it difficult to hit these specific E2E targets – a trend consistent with the 0% success rate across all missions in Week 4 proper.
ICYMI: The Week 4 Results & Election Outcome Recap
The failure of these final missions reinforces the main points from our big wrap-up post published right after Election Day. If you missed that crucial update, here’s the super-quick summary:
- Week 4 Engage2Earn Fizzled: All missions failed (0% success rate, 0 $AUSPOL unlocked), a notable drop from Week 3 (11M unlocked) and Week 2 (35M unlocked), likely due to election overload and fatigue.
- BUT... Labor Won Big: Despite the E2E slump, the Federal Election saw Labor win a majority government, Anthony Albanese historically re-elected, and Peter Dutton lose his seat!
- MAGA Setback, Not Defeat: The election result was seen as a positive pushback against imported MAGA-style politics, but the post stressed that the underlying threat remains and vigilance is crucial.
- E2E Election Campaign Concluded: The multi-week Engage2Earn campaign focused on the election is now officially over. A huge thanks was given to participants (66 Million $AUSPOL unlocked in total over the weeks!).
- Future Teased: While this phase ends, the fight against disinformation continues, with hints of new post-election plans and challenges to come.

That quick recap doesn't do justice to the full analysis of the Week 4 results, the comparison to previous weeks, the election context, and the discussion about what it all means moving forward. If you want the complete picture, you really should read that post.
