Will your privacy be taken in 2025?

By B. Em | Stack of Sticks | 24 Dec 2023

Is this a matter of time? Will it happen in 2025 or 2026? There are a few ways this can happen. Various video platforms are being censored at this very moment and some of them arent compyling. The easiest way for these censorship organizations to have full control is to start at the top. How can that be done? Let a catastrophic event happen. An event where people will allow the exchange of their privacy for security. Will this be done after a cyber attack? It can be done this way, and the pretext would be " we have to take this privelege from you to provide you security" This can be in the form of requesting your ID to be able to use the internet. If you dont provide your ID, you wont be able to watch videos, post content and monetize or trade crypto. They would essentially have you under their thumb. We are currently able to see this in real time on various applications, instead of captchas puzzles, Apps are requesting users to do face verification and in some cases they request your ID to use their apps for " verification" purposes. Sometimes If you give an inch they want to take a mile. Is it worth giving an inch or a centimeter in this case?

In conclusion if measures are taken to counteract these regulations, then these censorship organizations wont have a choice but to secede but if no one does anything, privacy will be taken the same way a pacifier is taken from an infant. By the way you can watch this great interview with Whitney Webb that was just released yesterday it goes into depth about the topic above.
