On a daily basis, we all use a browser either being Google Chrome or any other one we do. But do you ever wonder how they make money from being free of use? 

First of all, what is a web browser? 

A web browser is a software application, when a user requests a web page from a particular website, the web browser retrieves the necessary content from a web browser and then displays the page on the screen.

1.Mozilla Firefox Earnings

Mozilla Firefox is heavily sponsored by Google,95% of the earnings come from the donations Google pays them. This donation/payment is approximately 562 million dollars, for having chrome as their default search engine.

2.Apple and Safari

Google pays 12 BILLION DOLLARS to Apple, so they use Google as their default search engine in safari.

3.Google Chrome Earnings

Chrome uses Google as its default search engine.

The ads which we usually see the result within the first page of a search.

Google suits(has) apps with premium services such as a service to store files

4.Microsoft Edge Earnings

Microsoft Edge is HEAVILY sponsored by Bing

Microsoft Edge earns money by Bin search results Ads

Currently, around the globe, 4.5% of people use Microsoft Edge daily

6.Opera Earnings

Opera earns money from their speed dial sponsors like EBAY.
