Kaylia Nemour and Qiu Qiyuan are the clear favorites to win gold, as, this season, they have the difficulty value and the scores to win competitions, even with a fall, any of them could be on the podium.
The silver and bronze medal could go to a series of gymnasts who have the needed difficulty, execution, ... Rebeca Andrade, Mélanie De Jesus Dos Santos, and Alice D'Amato* have been scoring well enough both internationally and in domestic competitions. The US gymnasts, Simone Biles and Shilese Jones, and also Huang Zhuofan, from China, haven't been to international competitions this year, so they only have domestic scores.
***A few hours ago, Alice D'Amato fail on bars in qualifying, so, since two of her team mates scored higher than her, she is automatically out of the bars final as per the 2-per-country rule.
