NBA:Durant Trade Request & Best Move Pt.2

The Durant conversation is still on the board and while there hasn't been a lot of open development in terms of teams that are interested, I think it goes without saying that just about every team that realistically feels that they are just one player away are scrambling to find some kind of package that would help them to land KD.  With that said, I think the biggest news involves the Nets only with Kyrie Irving saying that he is willing to stay with the Nets with or without KD.  One could dig into that statement and pull out a whole can of speculation that could progress a negative narrative. In taking his statement as is, Kyrie is saying he's committed to staying with the Nets in regards to his stance with the team and players he's not speaking about KD's stance with the players and team.  KD basically took the same approach during Kyrie's stance on the Covid mandates and maybe that's just a mutual agreement they have in regards to media statements.  There's been a lot of 3 team scenarios thrown out also since my last post, but none that have really moved the meter for me so my fantasy trade involves the Nets, Lakers, Jazz, and Heat & as a big possible, the Raptors.  Between those four teams it could possibly make the most blockbuster of all-time list.  KD to the the Lakers, Donovan Mitchell to the Nets, Westbrook to the Jazz, Kyrie to the Heat and Lowry moved later and possibly to a reunion with the Raptors. Of course there'd be a huge swap of draft picks to make that happen and I'm not even gonna try and get into the draft pick swap scenario. Keep in mind I'm not even talking salary caps with this trade in mind because if a team really want's to make it happen then they can make the reach.  The reason I chose these four teams is because they all fit the bill for the state of the franchise in some way.  KD to the Lakers would mean Lebron returning to the PG position as the QB with a 100 rating in court/field vision and KD fully free to be KD on the court in the same way he was with a ball movement offense in Golden State.  Mitchell to the Nets could really open up his offensive game if still fairly new coach Steve Nash is trying to up the pace of the Nets similar to the offense he ran as a player with the Suns.  Westbrook to the Nets give's him less pressure and also gives the Nets a chance to remain playoff contenders and maybe even a shot at a championship if they can bring in a good supporting cast and I'll cover Westbrook in more detail in another post.  If there's any team involved in this fantasy deal of mine that could be more willing to pull the trigger than other's given the right scenario such as this one it would be the Miami Heat & Pat Riley as the final piece of this puzzle.  Pat Riley knows the business of the NBA on a level unlike most having been a coach of the Lakers and having success in the world spotlight with a global franchise.  I mean he did put together the "Superteam" for this generation of NBA fans not that far in the distant past and that's not what I'm saying a move for Kyrie would build again in Miami, but what I am saying is that the Heat's shot at another title moves the meter a long way with one of the greatest offensive players of all time in Kyrie Iriving.  They may have to move try and bring Toronto into the fold to make it happen if they want Kyrie there by putting Lowry and maybe Tyler Hero with picks in a deal. It would be the blockbuster deal of all time in this new era of player movement if it were to go down and I'm just saying...........Maybe it can happen.
