Yesterday, the Mayor League Soccer (MLS) gave opening to the 29th season! The first match was Inter Miami vs Real Salt Lake. The event took place in DRV PNK Stadium. Both team were eagered to win their first match of the season, because neither of them had a really good preseason! 

Inter Miami, played 7 matches during the preseason:

• Inter Miami vs El Salvador (0-0)
• Inter Miami vs Dallas FC (0-1)
• Inter Miami vs Al Hilal (3-4)
• Inter Miami vs Al Nassr (0-6)
• Inter Miami vs Hong Kong XI (4-1)
• Inter Miami vs Vissel Kobe (0-0)
• Inter Miami vs Newell's Old Boys (1-1)

While Real Salt Lake played 4 matches:

• Real Salt Lake vs Brondby (1-2)
• Real Salt Lake vs Fredrikstad FK (1-0)
• Real Salt Lake vs Kí Klaksvík (3-0)
• Real Salt Lake vs Toronto (1-1)

The game started with a very dominant Inter Miami, that had very clear chances of goal. Messi was really conected with the whole team and was very participative. The connection Messi - Suarez was just like in Barcelona, they were playing like if they had 25 years old! Although this two legends were having fun during the game and having good chances of goal, the goalkeeper of Real Salt Lake, Zac MacMath, did an amazing job and helped the team to hold the (0-0). Until 39', when Leo Messi, gave a surgical assist to Robert Taylor, who shot with his right foot, and with a little bit of luck the ball past under the goalkeeper body!

After that goal, the local team got really excited, and started to attack more and more, until the half time. When the game resumed, the pink team seemed relaxed, and started to do silly mistakes, that helped the visitant resurrect, especially in the midfield and the defense. Real Salt Lake started to shoot more and Inter couldn't react. They were pretty close to score the equaliser. 

In 83' a counterattack started by Messi, who took the attention of the whole defense, ended up in the second goal for the Miami's team, scored by Diego Gómez Amarilla, who was assisted by Luis Suárez. After that goal, the game appeared to be closed, but Leo Messi wanted more, and started to play around with the oponent defense. In one of the many attacks he elaborated, he escaped from two defenders and jumped over a player who was laying down on the ground, in order to shoot when he touched the ground! Unfortunately, it didn't end up in a goal, but it was going to be one of the most creative plays of all time!

The match ended in the minute 94, and as a result, Inter Miami won their first match. An interesting fact, is that Real Salt Lake, didn't lose their debut match, since 2009!

With this victory, Inter Miami is leading the table, until the other matches are played during the week! What a way to start the season!
