Before we were sisters,

before we came to this world and became part of the same family,

and before the world became ready for us,

we knew each other.

Before we were sisters we sat with God and his council deciding which part of our lives to go to next.

We were nothing more than beings of energy,

forever changing and growing under God’s love and care.

There were thousands of others,

complete generations upon generations,

history upon history of civilizations and people.

As far as the universe stretched there they sat,

waiting for their time to come.

Everyone had a place,

a time for them selves.

And it was your turn.

You walked up to God unafraid,

undaunted,

understanding that God was you and you were God,

and whatever you experienced God would also.

You had many lives and lived in various roles,

in countless worlds.

Your history was long like God’s love,

and just as ever lasting.

Now was your time to be born again,

and it was up to God and his council to decide what manner of life would fulfill your next desire.

And so you told them:

“I want to experience forgiveness.”

Forgiveness,

you wanted to experience one of the most powerful emotions of love God ever created.

You wanted to forgive and be forgiven,

you needed to know.

For all your past lives had been built up for this moment.

To know forgiveness.

And so I came forward:

“I will show you forgiveness. I will be born into a form where no matter what you did to me, I would forgive you.”

And you were so happy.

You were so glad.

And God smiled and said:

“Let this be so.”

Before we came to this earth,

before we were born,

before we were sisters

—we knew each other and made a pact.

This goes deeper than blood,

it goes straight to God who witnessed our vows.

For the sake of your experience,

of your yearning to know,

I volunteered for you.

From the very beginning,

deep in my heart and nature,

I had already forgiven you.

For everything you would ever do to me,

I had already loved and forgave.

So when we came to this earth,

and suffered,

and experienced.

When we slowly forgot in our minds,

and lived by earth.

And when we were born as sisters,

and later reborn in our understanding of each other,

and when you asked why did I love you?

How could I ever forgive you for what you had done to me?

I said:

“Before I came, I promised to show you forgiveness. In order to keep the vow, that’s what I did: I showed you the centuries of our love for you.”

But even without the pact, I would have forgiven and loved.

Now you never have to ask why.

You never have to wonder why.

Because the why is a promise,

the why is love.

A love unquestionable,

everlasting,

never wavering.

I love.

I love.

I will never do otherwise.

You think you are the only one blessed to be loved by me,

but I was blessed by God to have someone to give all my love to.

So for giving my love,

I got yours in return.
