So this is the time my journey to Gold league in Splinterlands starts.

I am already playing Splinterlands for about 2 month. But all the time I've done my battles on my second monitor while doing other things on my main one. The results were accordingly. Before Chaos Legion, the results were still ok, as I drew Djinn Oshannus and Venari Wavesmith in my first EOS reward. Together with Alric Stormbringer, these cards easily got me to Silver III.

Then Chaos Legion changed everything, my go-to combination just didn't work anymore and it was hard enough to get out of Bronze III at the beginning of the season.
So I decided that I had to do it right and strive for greatness.
And here we are: on the way to the Gold League.
But first to where we are now and where we want to go:

The timing for such an ambitious plan can't really be better than today: The Chaos Legion general sale starts today and the prices for cards are at a low point and will most likely drop even further once all the opened cards will flood the market.
I have already bought DEC to buy cards to at least reach the 15,000 CP for Silver III. The rest of the cards for the Gold League I will rent (if I even get that far).
I'm definitely going to buy a level 3 Summoner, I'm still deciding between General Sloan and Tarsa. I find both interesting and enjoy playing with them.
Accordingly, I will also buy cards in addition to cheap offers to reach the CP.
