My goal has always been to reach diamond every season. However, I might put this on hold for a while, the new rental system has made it a lot harder to reach this rank.
However, I'm still putting this as a goal, even though I consider this more of a long-trem goal.
One of the downsides of the game blowing up is the actual gameplay. It's harder to improve your deck because the prices went to the moon.
Power: 90 885/100 000
I took some profits after the prices went up and prepared myself to use those profits to buy chaos legion packs when they are introduced to the game.
My power has stagnated since the sudden splinterlands boom. The prices were going up so fast, I decided to simply hodl for a while. Well, actually I did sell a very small portion of my assets. I'm the kind of guy that likes to take profits along the way. However, I'm still really bullish on everything splinterlands-related, so I only sold a small portion, just to get at least my initial investment back.
I will be monitoring the prices on the market, if prices would drop once again I will switch back to accumulating power. 100k is just a pretty logical goal, I would be able to make it too gold without rentin anything.
I might wait for chaos legion before I will actually go for this goal, it depends on the prices.
Affiliates: 17/100
It's ambitious, but I would like to get to 100 splinterlands affiliates. It's not the biggest money-maker as an affiliate signup will only make $0.5. However, if you get some future addicts you will get 5% on all of their future credit purchases.
All in all, I like to promote the game, and this number will represent my effort so I like to get it as high as possible.
Tokens
100 000/100 000 SPT
I love spt as a token, but it just lacks utility atm. Once it became clear that spt would increase your sps airdrop points, the price drastically went up. Good for me because I was sitting on 130K.
However, I realise that if SPT does not get any additional utility it will drop a lot once the SPS airdrop year is over. I want to keep accumulating, but at this point it just doesn't feel right for me. I have sold around 15K since then and my current goal is to simply hold 100K. I might adjust my goals in time, if feel like SPT is too volatile I might switch to Hive Power and use that to reward great splinterlands content instead of spt, we will see.

SPS is kind of a difficult one right now. I tend to stake most of it, but I still feel like the value might drop if the utility isn't enough.

I also set my goal to start caring more and more about my upvotes. I saw a lot of low-effort posts in the last couple of weeks and some undervalued quality posts from beginners. I inted to reward those high-effort posts more and more, especially those that are not rewarded enough. With The splinterlands explosion I feel like only the oldschool members get the love that they deserve, which is not something I like to see. If new player put a lot of effort in their post and they actually contribute something to the community they should get rewarded as such.
