PLONKING ON THE PIANO #5

Happy new year. Not to seem to be pushing for the ironic, premature wish for your well being. Assuming you live north of the equator, at 3:27(am) today the ethereal tide of our solar system will turn in favour of more light.

For us northerners, winter solstice marks the seam in time where days start getting longer. 

As if to mark this occasion the clouds in the uk are looking particularly pearlescent today. If I was to force the metaphor towards my agenda, I would say:

“ these nacreous clouds reminded me of the lusture reminiscent of the white keys on the antique piano down the hall in my digs”

… then explain, this inspired me to create the video below for your enjoyment. 

I could say that (I just did) However, it would make me a narcissistic liar and more pretentious than I deserve. Longer articles get better tips apparently. Also generous slider action makes it seem more like you actually read, enjoyed and, are in fact; 

"an intellectual, and scholarly genius who is going places and definitely isn't just bluffing it like the others."

Following the above padding, I will say that I recorded the video yesterday (Thursday 21st December) quickly before my taxi came to take me to the train station. So the nacreous clouds hadn't yet formed.

It is just a long winded spiel to let you know, my playing in this piano improvisation was loosely based on my enthusiasm for appreciating the emotional stimulants freely available to all by enacting literally any response to NATURE. Art and music being a relatively well accepted method for signalling appreciation, have always been my favourite method.
