In my humble opinion, these soloists are pursuing something akin to groundbreaking within their own specialism.
Be sure to follow them and help direct the direction of independent music.
It is lightly that on some level, these creatives have given up or walked away from the potential to be supported within society. This may seem a glib observation to some, but as the world around us is changing, we find ourselves making some decisions that will eventually resolve some of the problems we humans have created. The one I am most interested in solving is, re-inventing what is viable to do as a creative outwith the influence of prescribed culture.
