Hello everyone.
I slept in today.
Next Saturday the plan is to go to Nashville for the MCAS Swap. This is the first swap this club has ever held. I did attend their April Meeting and picked up some fish(which are doing well) and some 3D printed items. For this swap, I'm looking to get some plants and one strain of Freshwater Shrimp as well as fish. The fish I'm looking to get are some cories as well as some Hillstream Loaches and some Medaka. A Daphnis culture would be awesome. Hopefully, most if not all of this will be acquired. I do have an auction two weeks after this swap that I plan to attend. It is only an hour away.
LEGO has been sitting in its boxes silently screaming at me. So far, I haven't built any further sets. Those screams have fallen on deaf ears. I want to build some sets, I just haven't done so. Mobile games that earn me Swagbucks have been getting the majority of my time. As you know, I convert the Swagbucks into Amazon Gift Cards which I use to purchase items that I feel I need. I ordered some socks yesterday. They should arrive Monday. Since I get SNAP benefits, Amazon Prime is only $6.99/month for me. Therefore, I order a good bit from them. I also enjoy Prime video. In fact, I finally cancelled my cable TV. This will save me quite a bit of money each month and since I watch Prime on my TV, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.
I do plan to buy a couple of LEGO sets in May. June looks a little light for me. I don't buy anything that is overly expensive unless it is on deep discount. I tend to go for BrickHeadz. I've recently gotten into Botanicals but haven't really built much of them. I need to build a couple of them to find out if I should keep buying them.
Computer games have taken a backseat lately. I have been able to keep myself busy without them. As long as each day is "fun" then I've won. If I start losing, then I will adjust what I'm doing.
Crypto, I'm still hodling. BTC is slowly creeping back towards $100K. I do look at crypto daily if not two or more times. I don't trade as I am too emotional to make money at it. In the past I bought "good" stuff and I still have some of it. When I need access to cash, the crypto will be there for me. Hopefully, it will be worth more than it currently is.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
