Hello everyone.
The GCAS Fish Auction that was supposed to be today was delayed until April 26. That puts it one week before the first MCAS swap. I plan to attend the MCAS swap in Hendersonville. Think Nashville and you are just south of Hendersonville. May 17 is the BFKA auction which I also plan to attend. The GCAS trip would be about a 3 hour drive. The MCAS trip is just over 2 hours and in the central time zone. That makes it easier on me since I live in the eastern time zone. The BFKA trip is just over an hour and the easiest trip for me. Currently, I don't have any trouble driving. I do find it to be sort of a waste of time.
The college basketball team I follow was eliminated from March Madness last night. They won the two regular season games they played against their opponent but couldn't beat them a third time. Three wins over a team in one season is very difficult for some reason. You would think having won the first two meetings of the season would prove who the superior team is, but that third win is near impossible.
As far as my LEGO adventure goes... I've only assembled the one set lately. I want to build more than I've done, I just haven't done so. I do want to record the assembly for YouTube and have the overhead camera all set up. Really don't have a reason for not doing more. I have been buying what I like. I don't see much that I will be getting April. Again, I only buy what I like. Sales and double Insiders points are enticing, but they don't force me to buy sets I wouldn't otherwise buy. GWP if I like them are the way to get me to re-purchase sets if there isn't a "new" set I want.
Like I always do, I've started out following MLB. Each season I seem to follow the first weeks up to about a month and then slowly lose interest. Baseball season will last into October for the World Series. While keeping up with Opening Day I almost bought Out Of The Park Baseball 26. I had purchased the previous 5 years of OOTP, but held off this year. I tend to play is for a month or two which isn't bad for a video game. I just haven't been doing much game playing on my PC. I've been keeping myself busy earning Swagbucks by playing phone games.
Yesterday I cleaned one of my sponge filters in an aquarium in this room. The sponge was filthy. It now is very audible which lets me know it was very dirty until I squeezed it. The plan is to do another next Friday and the last one in this room the Friday after that. I do have 5 tanks on a rack in the living room but only have fish in two of them. Snails are helping to cycle/season the others. I will get myself a routine once I get the 3 "empty" tanks filled. The auctions and swap that are upcoming should see me fill those tanks.
I'm still hodling my crypto. This bear market we are in sort of sucks. At some point it will go up. I just know that if I try to time things and trade that I will not do well. I don't put the time into it to be successful at it. That is the main reason I now just hodl.
