Hello everyone.
This being #66 reminds me of APBA Baseball. I used to play it "back in the day". It is a dice and card baseball game. You also used boards to check the result you got from rolling the dice and checking the batters card for another number. 66 as well as 11 usually gave you a 1. A 1 was a home run. Therefore, 66 makes me think of a HR.
I finally assembled a LEGO set. It was a CITY set that consisted of two vehicles that are a mix of soap box derby and "cars" used it bed races and the like. The one I did was Airplane vs. Hospital Bed. The next one is Pizza vs. Fire Truck. After that I plan to do a mix of Brick Headz and Botanicals. I haven't been ordering as much lately, but have been sticking to sets that I like. I would do a LEGO City if I liked more of the buildings and had a thing for trains.
March Madness is going on. I'm not watching as much as I thought I would. Currently there are 32 teams left in the tournament. After Saturday and Sunday the tournament will be down to the Sweet 16. Speaking of THE Sweet Sixteen, it will start Wednesday. The KHSAA Boys State Tournament will run Wed-Sat and end with the crowning of the State Champion. The winners of the 16 Regional Tournaments qualify for the Sweet 16.
I have downloaded 3 computer games via Xbox Game Pass for PC. I've yet to play any of them. The plan is to do YouTube videos of me playing the first 30 minutes of each game. Hopefully, I will continue playing at least one of those 3 and get back in the groove of playing computer games. Lately, I have been occupied with mobile games which earn me Swagbucks. I then convert the SB's I earn into Amazon Gift Cards. I then use the AGC's for whatever I get from Amazon. Usually it is fish related. I have bought LEGO with them too. I might get an air fryer around Black Friday.
Next week will be delayed if I go to the GCAS Auction. It will depend on what people list that they are bringing. It is a three hour drive to Cincinnati. Ideally, I would win what I'm looking for. It being an auction there is no guarantee that I win what I want. I will only go if people post that they are bringing the items I'm looking for. Otherwise, May 3rd is the next real shot I would have to get stuff. It will be the first ever Swap Meet in Nashville. It is 90 minutes to 2 hours from me. After that, the BFKA has an auction May 17th that is a little over an hour from where I live.
Yesterday, I had some Fascia that had blown off, repaired. It needed to be done. Besides getting the oil changed in the car, it was the first "big boy" thing I've done since Mom passed. I miss her every day. Living alone is different for sure. That is probably why I've started keeping fish again. It gives me something to do as well as Mom helped with the aquariums we had before.
Thanks again. Gary
