Weekly Rambling #55

By SouthernStar71 | SouthernStar71 | 4 Jan 2025

Hello.

This week has been eventful. Wednesday I went to town for an oil change and to get 3 prescriptions. I didn't pay attention to it being New Years Day. The Walmart Automotive section looked closed so I didn't get my oil changed and the pharmacy at Walgreens was closed too. Therefore, I went to town again on Thursday. I did get everything done to the car that needed to be done. I sat and played phone games for almost 3 hours waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. It was the longest I've ever waited. Usually if the say I'm more than 30 minutes behind people, I just wait. I had been procrastinating so long that I HAD to get the car serviced. The drive-thru at Walgreens wasn't much better. I was in line approximately 30 minutes. When you need your meds, you need your meds. Wednesday wasn't a totally wasted day though. Did get some much needed items while I was in town. I got 2 Air Filters for the house. Those last 3 months each. That makes me good on those until July. I picked up some items for my fishkeeping. I got a 2 gallon and a 5 gallon bucket. Also got 2 Turkey Basters. Bought some regular items too. I was able to get 4 of the Tea I drink. They come in 1 gallon jugs. I also got 24 each of Coke Zero Sugar and Sprite Zero Sugar. Got a 2 pack of Philly Cream Cheese. Pretty sure that wraps it up.

Been playing Raid:Shadow Legends recently on the PC. I streamed it twice as part of a sponsorship. I have 19 more days. Hopefully I can reach Level 45 as that will be more money for me. Reaching Levels 40 and 45 are payout points. I'm currently Level 35. Levelling has slowed down a bit as you would expect. If you want to help me out, go to https://www.twitch.tv/southernstar71 and type !raid into the chat. Click the link that shows up in the chat and DownLoad the game. New players who complete goals help support the channel. The easiest goals are completing the PC Tutorial and also reaching Level 12. There are additional goals to reach but those take more time.

Yesterday I put enough water in the Stock Tank to cover the drain. I did this to make sure it holds water. I will check it later Saturday or sometime on Sunday. Ideally, I do it later Saturday. I need to get it to the bottom of the basement stairs along with another wrapped piece of wood. I do have someone lined up to bring those 3 items up from the basement. Once those are upstairs, I can finish setting up the tanks that will go onto that Rack. There are Swap Meets coming up that I would like to attend. I need tank space for what I plan to pick up. It also would be nice to get those tanks setup and running ahead of time. The swap in Cincy is Feb. 8th. If I feel the tanks aren't ready then I will wait until the March 8th Swap in Richmond, KY that is closer to me. Also gives me another month to get the tanks ready. Most likely I will be doing the March swap since it is closer and I've been there once.

Getting closer to doing more LEGO. I still haven't built the FunWhole Chili Dog Trailer. Nonetheless, I now have plenty of LEGO to keep me busy for quite some time. I do only purchase what I want. Doing a City might get a few more views on YouTube but so far, I haven't really bought a lot of buildings that would encompass a City. I tend to go for BrickHeadz and Botanical sets. Not sure why those have struck my fancy but they have.

As far as Crypto goes, I just Hodl what I have. The "plan" is to hodl it until I need to tap into it. I do a few crypto "games". Rollercoin is where I put most of that effort. I do enjoy the mini-games they have. I'm within the top 7K and slowly advancing. At this point, I'm just accumulating crypto from there. I also "play" Rising Star and Prospectors. Neither takes much time. I do these daily.

Guess that will be all the Rambling for this week. Thanks for reading.
