Today is Saturday so I ramble.
Later today I will watch FP3 and Qualifying for the Spanish GP for F1. I usually watch the last 15 minutes of each practice and the last 5 minutes of each part of Qualy. Therefore today it will take around 30 to 35 minutes to watch what I want to watch. I have it setup to record via DVR. I rarely watch anything live. For the actual GP Sunday, I will watch it shortly after it concludes. I will watch the first few laps then FF to pit stops. If it is a close race, I will watch more than that. I also watch the last few laps if the race isn't close. Almost no one has mechanical failures anymore. This leads to a more predictable finish. If Max doesn't take pole, I'm more likely to watch more of the race. The lower he qualifies impacts how much of the race I watch. If he dominates like he can, it makes for a boring race and I watch less of it.
Also later today I will watch the LCS. I've stopped watching the LEC as watching both took up too much of my weekend. It was 9-11 hours watching both. The LCS still takes 4-6 hours to watch with them moving to two BO3's. Last Saturday was a full 6 games with Sunday being only 4 games. It was more suspenseful for the series that went to a third game.
Still about a month away from F1 Manager 24. The plan hasn't changed. I do plan on doing Create A Team. It should take at least 3 seasons to get to mid-field. Hopefully, I can do that. FM 25 should release sometime in November. I'm not sure who I will manage but I do think I have a better idea on what to do. Bringing in new players is still my toughest challenge. Picking a formation and having the players suited to that formation is what I need to get better at.
I did purchase SteamWorld Heist while it was on sale. $1.49 seemed too good to pass up. In about 6 weeks they are releasing SteamWorld Heist 2. I have seen a trailer or two for it and it seems like something I can play and that I would enjoy it.
Still doing OOTP 25. Still stuck in Silver League. I will keep on playing as long as I'm in Silver. If I get promoted to Gold I will see how that goes. If I were to get demoted to Bronze, I will stop trying/playing. With my not spending any additional money on the game, it makes it more difficult to get promoted. At some point I will either get promoted or demoted. I've been tweaking my Roster and adjusting my tactics. I just can't seem to get a good to great season out of the team.
