MSI has started.
I'm watching the Play-Ins at 1.5 speed on YouTube. That way I don't wake up at 4am to watch them live from China. Also, other than the games involving T1 and maybe TES the quality of play is lower. Once they move to the Bracket Stage, things will get spicy. We will know the 8 teams involved in the Bracket Stage after Sunday's play.
I'm still doing Perfect Team in OOTP 25. I am in Silver League. I would like to get back into Gold League. At the moment it is really tough getting promoted. It takes reaching the Championship Series of a League to do so. I only have 3 Perfect Cards although I did go all Diamond and above on my roster. I plan on opening my packs Sunday and hopefully I will pull a Perfect. Also, hope I can spend some PP and complete some missions to acquire some cards that will make my team better. Lastly, after doing all of that, I will adjust my tournament teams and try to win some packs. As a reminder, I haven't spent any money on Perfect Team.
I'm a bit conflicted on whether or not I want to start playing some FM24 in preparation for FM25. I do need to learn each position and what it really means to play someone in a role for that position. I do know that FM25 will have a new match engine. That should lead to players in a role playing a bit differently. That makes learning now less valuable for the future. Just not sure if I want to learn how things work in 24 only to have it not really mean much in 25. However, will some knowledge now be better than having to learn everything in the future.
Saw my Endocrinologist on Wednesday. I have had my Thyroid removed. I take Levothyroxine daily to get what the thyroid would produce. During my visits they check my A1C to see where it is in relation to 7.0 which is the target. This time it was at 5.5 which is really good and the lowest it has been for me. He kept my meds the same, but now he is going to do yearly follow-ups instead of every 6 months. Also, I was able to get 3 months of a med that I usually had been getting monthly.
I saw my heart Dr. the Wednesday before I saw the Endocrinologist. He told me to stop taking Chlorthalidone. That was a blood pressure med I was taking daily. My bp is fine without the Chlorthalidone. I've also reduced my caffeine a bit by drinking root beer and Sprite as my 2nd soft drink each day. The 1st one is either a Coke or a Pepsi. All of them are Zero Sugar as I try to keep my sugar intake as low as I can.
I do need to exercise more. That is the one thing I really need to add to my routine. The sooner I add it the more likely I will be to keep doing it. That is the one thing that would round off my health regimen.
I have rambled long enough. Thanks for reading. Also, I appreciate the tips. As for Crypto, all I do is Hodl.
