Today is Super Sunday. I will watch most of the Super Bowl. It will be the 1st one without Mom. Also for the 1st time I will be more interested in the commercials. As I've gotten older the results of sports seem to matter less to me than they used to. Not sure if that is just my getting older or if my interests have shifted. Could be a combination of both.

Yesterday I watched day one of the LEC Group Stage. Today at noon will be day two. Monday will see Day 3. On Monday it will be the winners from yesterday playing each other and the winners from today playing each other. The winners on Monday move into the winners bracket of the Playoffs for Winter Split. The team that wins the Winter Split gets to go to MSI. That is a fairly large feather in their cap.

This week is a Super Week for the LCS. That means we have games on Wednesday in addition to Thursday and Friday. This will complete the first Round Robin. This means each of the ten teams will have played the other nine teams once each. Records at that point could be indicative of the better teams. Through the first 6 games Dignitas still doesn't have their intended player at Support. The Golden Guardians were without their intended mid-laner for the first 2 matches. They did get Gori in starting with the 3rd game. He did not get to practice much if any with the team until after playing Week 2. They had much better results during Week 3. Granted they did get to play weaker opposition in Week 3. The Super Week will let us know if GG is a truly good team OR just the best of the bad teams. Either way the LCS needs a better way of getting import players here on time.

P.S. I just want a close game. Not sure what to expect. Usually I have a good idea of how the game will go. I'm afraid that one team will dominate the other. Just no real clue which team it will be.
