It is the last day of 2022. Mom has been gone almost 2 months. When I think about that, I still tear up a bit. Otherwise, things are OK for me. 

I do now get Snap benefits so I don't have to come out of pocket for groceries. Right now, I'm going to be spending less than they allow me each month. That is good. I'm buying everything I want to and I could spend about $15 more each week.

I hope I get some sort of disability check due to the stroke I had. So far I haven't been able to get that. The good thing is the house and the car are both paid in full. I do still have monthly bills and have yet to receive the insurance check. At some point that money will run out though. 

I do really miss watching League of Legends. Approximately 3 weeks to go until it returns. I tend to "watch" the LPL on YouTube. Sometimes I skip to the end of each series and sometimes I let each game play out. I have these on my 2nd monitor and mostly listen to them. With the LEC and the LCS I do watch a series or two and then skip ahead to see who won the others. I plan to add the LCK to my viewing routine.

Today the semi-finals of the CFP take place. If you have been reading my posts, you know that I mostly just want to know who has won. This is really no different for me. I do expect it to be Michigan vs Georgia in the finals. 

Somehow, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play next week for the divisional title versus the Titans. They did defeat the Titans rather convincingly in Tennessee earlier this season. The Titans will be using either Malik Willis or Joshua Dobbs at QB. The Jaguars should win that game. However, it would be the most "Jaguar" thing to lose that game and miss out on the playoffs.

I have done two sets of sheets today for laundry. So far the fitted sheet of one set is on the bed. The other sheet is spread out on the bed. It is awaiting me tucking it under the mattress. Also, need to put the pillow cases on the pillows. I have 11 to 12 hours to do that. 

Mom used to make most of the meals. She did all the laundry and made the beds. I was spoiled even at my  age. Towards the end, I watched her do the laundry so I would know how to do it. Also started making both beds so I would know how to do it. Yes I'm tearing up right now. Anytime I think of her, it does this to me. I should be glad she was as strong as she was.  She was more concerned about me than herself. I miss her greatly.
