My electricity was out for 18 hours today. 

I spend most of my time on the computer. The rest of my time is usually spent watching TV. Having no electricity makes doing both extremely hard. I do have a smartphone but my cell service without wi-fi is garbage. Obviously with no electricity I had no wi-fi. 

Eating was kept to items that didn't need to be heated in the oven or on the stovetop. Also, no microwaved items with no electricity.

I did read a good bit and went for a walk. Not a wasted day, but I am feeling much better being on the computer.  Do plan on watching some TV later today as I have a bunch of shows on DVR. 

I did not get to watch F1 Qualifying as the DVR didn't record it as it had no electricity to do so. I have watch Qualifying highlights so I know what happened. Hopefully the electricity stays on from here forward. We did have extremely high winds which must have either blown down some power lines somewhere OR perhaps blew over some trees into some power lines. I did look out the front door and whatever it was, wasn't visible.

It did get cold without the heater running. I felt like I lived like an European today. It was 7 degrees cooler than it usually gets in the house. The house has already warmed up as thankfully It wasn't cold outside today.
