Of the hopeless
Of the lost sunshine

Locked up in a cage 
Withering and choked
To get out...

The enemy strikes unseen
As we cross the forbidden
Paths.

A ray of sunshine 
Hath thus arisen
Amid the chaos and mayhem

A new day a new page
In the history 
Of human life
Hath begun

A new day 
A new age 

In the new year
2021.
