SORRY, NOT SORRY

UNTITLED PAIN

UNTITLED PAIN

Well … I don’t like to exaggerate things, but it was huge for me then. It was vile for me to contribute to such a thing. When I look back, I see a completely different person. Anyway. I’m uncomfortable with this part, so I will tell you what happened fast since I promised that I would tell you that Mom’s getting caught with Covid. It was one of the most traumatic events of my life.

That friend who introduced me to his illegal friend… There is a good reason why we had become friends. Let’s go back a little in time, when I had still been doing broadcasts. One day, I was on live and making conversations with guys as usual until I got a phone call from home.

It was my sister. She said that the doctors sent Mom to the province since there wasn’t a proper cardiology service in our town’s hospital. She was chasing the ambulance in her car and at the phone talking to me at the same time. They thought it was a heart attack, and Sister said, "You should come." I knew that they had gotten sick before ten days ago, during their visit to my brother, who was living in another city, to close our town. I thought they were okay because their quarantine restriction was over. Apparently it wasn’t…

Mom got sick suddenly. The virus stuck on her heart valve. Of course we didn’t know this then. When I heard terrible news, I tore into cries on the broadcast… They tried to call me down, but it didn’t work. I couldn’t think of anything other than to run there. What the worst thing was was I didn’t have money to buy a bus ticket!

That friend then called me and sent me the bus ticket money for me to be able to go to Mum. Maybe it was the worst journey of my life in the middle of the night. I run into the hospital directly to the hospital as soon as I set foot in the province. There was no vaccination yet, and everyone was escaping from the patients like they were zombies, you remember. But I didn’t care at all; all I wanted her to get was health. So, I accompanied her in that room for two days, I guess, and then, thanks to God, she recovered largely. I’ve never told anyone that I was jobless and cried millions of times on the secret corner of that hospital. But I didn’t care about it either. Just that burden… you know…

At that time Dad got sick too and was home alone. But he was better, and by means of the doctor’s wisdom, he was hospitalized immediately. He was there; we were here. I didn’t know what to do with the situation at first, staying with Mom or with Dad, but as I said, he was fine, and after 2 days our doctors said the same for Mom and sent her back to the town hospital. Thus, they stayed in the same room a week, and I visited them every day until they were discharged. Sometimes they let me in; sometimes they didn’t. When they didn’t, I waved my hand at them at their windows and put the things like food, laundry, etc., and left them.

After they came back home and I made sure they were okay, I returned to the city with my secrets.

See you in the next part.

SORRY, NOT SORRY
SORRY, NOT SORRY

While it is hard enough for me to begin to tell my story, you can imagine how even small details like "description" can be challenging to me. All I can say is that you will come across with a real story without lies, fake emotions, fake problems, and no intentions to seem different from what is being actually. I hope we can catch a real connect. Enjoy your reading.
