Caveman Daydreams

Moving Pictures

Moving pictures
Daydreams of a caveman
Afraid of the dark
And rain
So he wonders
What the age of wonders would be
He never pictured the pain,
Did he...
Or maybe
He did,
And he moved past it,
To when war is gone
And the moving pictures
Too.
To when all his kids
Are free to live
In the home they share,
The world out there,
Beyond the dark
And rain.
