Funny how a harmless stake of $2 to win $15 at the casino had turned out to become my greatest nightmare.

Yes I still remember that faithful day in campus. I had just finished my inline skating practice with rest of my crew, and I decided to hook up with a friend at the campus gate

.

On getting there, I called him to notify him that I was at the gate, but then he pleaded with me to come meet him up at a near by casino. Which I did.

Wow... This was my first in such an environment but as I moved closer into the casino, I met some familiar face too and within a short while, I was feeling comfortable already and then I decided to try.

With the supervision of the friend I went to meet, I tried my very first stake of $2 and with 3mins, I won the sum of $15.

And that was it....

A new gambler was born and little by little, my once focused life had so much become distracted and all of a sudden, I was at a stand still.

This was how I kept on trying and trying to beat the bookies until it become obvious that I had lost control of my will.

Well I will use this platform to share my story as a problem gambler and how I managed to finally overcome the addiction..

So that people with a similar case could follow up and over time, they might be able to learn from my story how I was able to quit.

@sugah is just reminiscing

If you don't mind, you can share with me first time you tried that addiction. So we can all learn.
