Its cute to see both the dog and cat laying in the sun together. Walter is all stretched out getting all that sunlight into his fur. And Luci is just happy to have her head in the sunlight. They both get along real well and when the sun comes out they both hang out by the window.

The cat uses his claws to really stretch on the carpet. It does not damage the fibers so no worries. They seem to lay there for hours.
Sometimes the cat will get too close to the dog, and she does not like that. So the dog will move away from the cats curious claws. Sometimes the cat will then follow the dog to where she moves.
Though not this time around, the cat stayed where he laid and there was calm by the sunny window. Its cute how they both match with their black and white spots. And times I think the cat wants to be a dog, and the dog wants to be a cat.
Until the next sunny afternoon, they shall have to wait for the light to return.
