Fleeing from the Great Swamps I goto a near by region of the map that Monolith is slowly taking over. There were some spots that were not captured though so I moved onto those locations.

I come across a farm that is barricaded, military is inside and has probably close to ten troops. I slowly pick them off walking around the building while still keeping them at bay chasing me. Its a game of hide and seek but with bullets.

Peering around corners I wait for the enemies to get close and then I open fire when they are out in the open. Sometimes I get peppered with bullets but other times I successfully take out the enemy. Grenades work well when they are just coming around the corner but I must save them for later use in many cases.

Was surprised no Monolith allies were coming to assist, only showing up after I captured the base.. go figure hah.

Though I do capture it and then get a trickle of enemies in the area trying to recapture what I took from them. I was not expecting such fierce resistance outside of their HQ. Maybe this is one of their last standing outposts. I wonder as the military outposts become less occupied, if more veterans are clustered in one outpost. As it seems taking outposts is getting harder as Monolith conquers The Zone.

Pretty close to calling it a total win for Monolith, though until the HQ is captured of the largest opposing enemy. Ill head back into the Swamps once Monolith captures a few outposts, until then its just too hot in that region with the last standing group of enemies.
