No Man's Sky Gameplay 02-17

Looking for more materials I came across a sentry that took interest in me. I decided instead of fleeing I could attack it, there was only one of them and I could handle it. I usually just run from them, but after killing it I had to take a minute to figure out how to take its container it spawned when it died.

Afterwards I come across a cave, but unfortunately re-enforcement sentry's came along and I had to run this time, I cannot take on the armored ones let alone two of them.

I decided to bore out a tunnel and see if they chased me. Seems they got hung up in the tunnel and lost track of me. I love the idea of how I can just bore through the ground.

After loosing the sentries I headed back into the cave and harvested the minerals I planned on getting from the start. I came across the sentry again but this time it was not interested in me. I kept mining and let it be and not attacking it as it had that armor. In the future I hope I find a good multitool with a blaster that can take them out. I feel like im at the bottom of the food chain with my basic blaster. My tunneling tool is a great way to escape enemies though. Eventually I want to try to build a base in the side of a mountain. I dont know if the game will allow me, but would be kind of fun to have an underground base. Reminds me of the vaults in Fallout.

Lots to do in the game, I wonder which are the new features and which ones are not.
