Using Steem's Dapps is quite important to me, and while trying out many a few have really stuck with me. One of those is Steem Monsters also known as Splinterlands. Recently new packs have been released with all new cards. I got myself a bunch of packs and enjoyed opening them. I still have another video to post of opening untamed packs. But in the mean time I wanted to talk about my experience with playing Steem Monsters.
Learning what cards are best to use has been a challenge, as I have zero experience with playing cards in the past. I collected Pokemon cards and sports cards as a child but never played any battle card games.
Being part of the Steem community ive had alot of help and guidance in playing the game. And thankful for every ones help, I usually end the season in Bronze but hoping over time to move up as I level up summoners and monsters.
Ive noticed near the end of the season it can be real hard to move up, I lost twenty battles in a row during the last few hours of a season. Kept getting matched up with users many levels above me and I stood no chance with their high level cards when most of mine are still level 1. So I guess some things need to be taken into account when playing at certain times. But overall I complete quests and usually make it to Bronze III before the season ends.
