Desert Combat Gameplay 03-05

Smaller maps with alot of players can be intense. Especially if there is only a single bridge for land forces to cross. It can make for some stalemates and in many cases one side or the other pushes over the bridge. But its a major choke point for both sides.

I take the Blackhawk and fly around and pick up troops. Most ground forces wont shoot at the choppers, I fly over to the enemy base and land and go attempt to steal their chopper. But landed choppers blows up and takes out the stolen chopper before I can take off.. hah

Luckily when I respawned the AH-6 was there. I take it and fly over to the bridge where everyone is trying to cross and let those twin machine guns rip. I used up all the rockets pretty quickly but had alot of ammo for taking out the troops with the machine gun. We were able to cross the bridge with the help of the attack helicopter.

Framerate dropped into the 30s with all the chaos going on and was glad my computer could handle it. Only now computers can handle such mods when back in the early 2000s when this game came out 60 could barely be on the map at the same time.

I ran out of ammo for the light helicopter gunship so I got the harrier and dropped some bombs right over their capture point. I saw an SU-25 on the runway on the enemy base so I ditched the Harrier and attempted to get it. Though I faced fierce opposition on the runway tarmac and was taken out before I could reach the attack aircraft.
