Before I interact with a Solana token, I check the data first.
When I first started looking at Solana tokens, I often focused on the price, chart, volume, and community activity.
But over time, I realized that those things alone do not tell me enough.
Now I usually check four things first:
Mint Authority, Freeze Authority, holder distribution, and DEX liquidity.
1. Mint & Freeze Authority
I want to know whether more tokens can still be minted and whether token accounts can still be frozen.
An active authority does not automatically mean that a project is bad.
But I prefer to know what control still exists before I interact with a token.
2. Holder Distribution
I also check the largest token accounts.
If a large percentage of the supply is concentrated in only a few accounts, I want to understand why.
Sometimes a large account may be a liquidity pool, treasury, exchange, or vesting wallet, so the numbers always need context.
3. DEX Liquidity
Liquidity is another thing I pay close attention to.
A token can have a visible market price but still have very little liquidity.
That can make even relatively small trades move the price significantly.
I also look at recent volume, transactions, and how long the trading pair has existed.
4. I wanted a simpler way to check everything
The problem was that I had to visit several different sites to check all of this information.
That became inconvenient.
So I started building BLINKBUN Token Checker.
