What is GRASS?
Grass is a network for selling that bandwidth to corporations & institutions, with a suite of applications that do this in the background of your phone or computer. The end result is passive income for selling a resource you didn't even know you had.
It's the easiest Airdrop, and it is completely free to use.

You can choose between 3 versions:
- Version Lite and you get 100 points per hour
- Version Node and you get 125 points per hour
- Version Desktop node and you get 200 points per hour

As Epoch 7 concludes, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment in our journey - the end of Closed Beta - wherein we focused on building the foundational infrastructure of Grass and establishing a network that is powered by millions of users running nodes. Now, as we move forward, we are ready to decentralize control of the network.
Snapshot
A snapshot is being taken, and it will be used to determine eligibility in the upcoming airdrop. Your network participation (weighted by epoch) will serve as a baseline for your rewards. Over the next few weeks, we’ll provide details on how you can check your airdrop eligibility and share more information about the tokenomics.

Introducing the Bonus Epoch
As a lead up into the airdrop, we’re excited to announce a limited time Bonus Epoch, specifically designed to encourage users to download the new Desktop Node. The Bonus Epoch is additive to the existing epoch rewards. Your earlier efforts will remain intact and will not be impacted by the Bonus Epoch. The Desktop App benefits both users and the network because it outperforms the Lite Node by using less than 5% of the resources of a Chromium browser while handling 10x more bandwidth. Simply put, the Desktop App is a more efficient way for the Grass network to scale.
Looking Ahead – Post Network Launch
The next stage of Grass will see a transition from building core infrastructure to supporting the development of applications that align the interests of users with the network, at scale. We have a limited amount of time to rewrite the rules of the internet, and Grass intends to be at the forefront of the revolution. Let’s take back control of the internet.
