The economy is deteriorating. What is the economy?

Are the economy just big banks and companies? Is the economy only for the companies in the stock market? Is the economy just the big banks and companies?

The economy is the income and consumption expenditures of small business owners, freelancers, self-employed people and workers in those companies and banks.

I look at the economy packages of the countries during virus.

With the monetary expansion ( QE ) will support the American banks $ 1.5 trillion and support with buying assets of $ 700 billion from the bonds of large companies.

The American population is 350 million. Instead of giving 2.2 trillion dollars to banks and big companies, it can give to Americans as 6300 USD per person if it distributes to all adults & children .

In the United States, not everybody has in adequate financial living standards. Those who have closed the restaurant,cafe by government or taxi drivers who still have to pay the house rent, they have to pay the credit card and the home loans. They need to buy food for their family. But government support banks and giant corporates with the money which came from all kind of taxes including restaurant/cafe owners, workers taxi drivers.

The Philippines has lockdown.

Only markets and pharmacies are open in Manila. People are already poor. Most of them either do their own street vendor job, or work in the factory or work in restaurants, cafes, etc. Government closed these places, these people live day by day without savings ? How will the taxi drivers in New York and Manila provide income for feed their families if governments do not allow them in curfew ? What will happen to small business owners and their staff if business owner cannot pay wages to staff because the place is closed?

These are not klingon, they are people with families.

This can be seen in other countries, maybe happen in your country also . "Let's save banks and big companies, let individuals out the benefit of economic packages." This is wrong policy from governments.

First of all, human and human health should be the priority, but when it comes to the economic part of corona, it become converted to "company and bank health".

All governments expect sacrifice from the individuals,

but even income tax collected from small business owners and workers are higher than the corporate tax that governments collect from companies and banks, governments only support to banks and giant corporates.

It is so easy to declare that " quarantine yourself at home, shut down your shop..."

If the individuals become financially collapsed, if they cannot give food to the child, fear of virus will not be priority, nerves that are strained will force people to react at streets.

I gave 2 example countries but have many more similar countries.

All governments in every country really fight strong to Covid 19 in medical basis, do you believe that, as an individual, governments financial decisions at this stage is really going to individuals ?
