CBFF 2023's Best Short Film Winner Goes To The Oscars

A massive congratulations to the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival CBFF 2023 Short Film Winner 'Stupid Boy', directed by Phil Dunn, for being short listed in this year's Oscars on 10th March 2024.

CBFF Best Short Film 2023 Winner

'Stupid Boy' is set in a London being terrorised by christian white supremacists. A broken man has been groomed for the next attack but encounters a boy from Brixton who sees the world in a different way. But seeing things differently can be dangerous.

This is a wonderful short film about the power of hope and love in a world of pain.

'Stupid Boy' was a well deserved winner of CBFF's Best Short Film for 2023 and would be an excellent choice for the Oscar for Best Short Film 2024.

If you have the chance please check it out. You will not be disappointed.
