CBFF Alumni News The Heart Wants – a special hometown screening of the CBFF2023 selected short film by Ariel Franklin
It is always wonderful to hear news about the films and film makers that have been part of Carmarthen Bay Film Festival CBFF - Gŵyl Ffilm Bae Caerfyrddin and we thought that the CBFF community would enjoy hearing about some of these stories and success as well.
One such tale is that of Ariel Franklin from Cleveland, Ohio and her imaginative and thought provoking short film ‘The Heart Wants’ that was selected to be screened at last year’s festival. After the announcement that her film was to be screened Ariel let us know that she was making the trip all the way from the US to join us for the 4 days of the festival here in Wales.

It was wonderful to meet Arial and all the film makers you come from near and far and so it is very exciting to be able to share with our CBFF community the news that ‘The Heart Wants’ has a special cinematic screening on Sunday 17th December at Northfield, 10229 Northfield Rd, Northfield, OH 44067, USA

Over the past 13 years Carmarthen Bay Film Festival has screened over 1200 films and will be sharing their stories and also about the film makers that made them regularly on their Facebook page.
