What is Nimiq?
Decentralized peer-to-peer protocol inspired by Bitcoin but built to run the browser. Describe itself as the blockchain designed for simplicity. Nimiq held its ICO in June and July of 2017. They raised over $10M. Trading was started shortly and development started on the project's Github. Nimiq known as NET (Nimiq Exchange Token) and was converted to NIM on March 31, 2018.
Wallet
Nimiq's Wallet (Nimiq Safe) is built on its own website which means you dont need to download any application. It has backup phrase in case of data loss. Nimiq safe is also compatible in any ledger wallet for extra security.
Mining
Nimiq can be directly mined in your own browser. There are options that you can choose. Solo Mining which you can have higher rewards while Pool Mining is where your rewards are already guaranteed and thats the recommended option.
