Good Morning Humans,
It happened as I said, Commander Burnham was epic and I fell asleep and awoke again like around 130am and closed up the house and went to bed. Now remember I was saying that the cold doesn't bother us here in Barbados, well it bothered me last night but you will probably laugh at me because it would be warm for you. It was about 22 degrees celsius last night and the rain was falling and I was covered up to my chinny chin chin, let the games begin (another saying). I was in sleep heaven, the rain was falling steadily, the rhythm on the roof was constant and full, the air was cool and I was under my blanket. The only drawback to this weather is that when it is so cool, I end up going to the bathroom more often and that can disrupt sleep especially when it occurs near the early waking hours of 4am.
So I ended up waking early around 6am but never leaving the bed. My body just didn't let me or maybe it was my mind, it was too foggy to tell. I laid there for awhile praying and then I got up after 7am and began to prepare breakfast, it was still cool outside even though the sun was risen. Pancakes was the order of the morning for my Son of Titan. He awakes ravenous and cranky, not really a morning person, but when he comes to speed he talks your ear off. Actually right now he is talking my ear off and my brain is really not keeping up. All I can do sometimes is nod attentively and smile and ask, really? Fact is his energy level is like Ultra Instinct Master (Dragon Ball Z super for those who don't know). Hence when he is very sick, I automatically know that he is because even then he tries to be still hyper. He is a seasonable asthmatic if I can call it that, he is triggered by the change in temperature around October/November. I was at the hospital with him all last year, same time, but this time around I was ready. Always live and learn so you don't get burned ( another saying) hahahahaha. He had me too jittery I could not sleep for the month, asthma is not to be trifled with, always have your preventor inhaler ready and make sure you take it as prescribed. It really does help.
Everyone's asthmatic condition is not the same. Some people grow out of theirs and other have to take the inhaler for life. I am thinking my son can beat his with more outdoor activities. He is interested in bike riding, but due to COVID, you can't get a bicycle on the island unless it costs you an arm and a leg. You know, the Trek fuel etc are available but not the lesser priced bikes like HARO flight line or Raleigh. I was told but a department store representative the bike distributors in the US are just not exporting since demand is so high within the 50 states already. I can appreciate that, but it is still disappointing. So when I get a bike for him he and I will hit some trails and I will probably enroll him in Bajan Ninja Warrior ( Bajan is slang for Barbadian). He likes the Naruto, DBZ, HERO ACADEMIA type anime and I think that is where all the hype comes from. Well, he was really improving in mental and body strength when we took Wing Chung together, but we stopped due to our Sensei going through a divorce and then he lost his job due to some work colleague's ignorance.
Anyway, elsewhere in Barbados this morning there was an incident that will put a dent in someone's pocket and I don't know whose dent will be deeper, maybe you can comment and let me know what you think. But both are factors of production.
Early morning accident: Horse and Bus I am not too sure what happened but someone is going to be very annoyed.
