Accepting cryptocurrencies for rent?

By slickwarrior88 | Slickwarrior88 | 28 Jan 2020

Accepting rent from tenants through online payments has been a thing for a while now. Making the payment process easy and convenient. I used to drive 15 minutes to my landlords house once a month to pay rent. Until one day I learned that they accept payments through Zelle. After i learned this making the monthly rent payment was so much easier. Saving me time and gas money. Then it dawned on me. Why don't landlords accept cryptocurrency for rent? Is this a thing yet?

I have been saving money and working on my credit so one day I can buy rental properties. How hard would it be to set up a wallet and receive payments in cryptocurrencies? And is it even legal to do so? I believe there is plenty of opportunity in that department. Just an idea that could work.
