Living and working together with a positive influence on society and a low impact on the environment.

We are a project for a self-sufficient residential community and a center for sustainable and regenerative practices at the social, environment, economic and cultural levels. We aim to be a lighthouse for community building, innovation and entrepreneurship, and to actively support the emergence of other community lead projects, in the region and abroad.

We value ancestral culture and wisdom, social and environmental regenerative practices and encourage a peaceful relationship with nature. We believe in the individual and collective potential in finding innovative and creative solutions to overcome the challenges and difficulties of the climate change reality, and also generate a sustainable financial flow that benefits everyone.

For an Earth that belongs only to itself.

We don't own the land, we are merely the guardians of the land where we live. We are the stewards of 25ha of pasture and forest. This land was acquired with donations from people all over the world who believe that our beautiful planet, our only home, deserves to be more cherished and loved, rather than owned. This land and forest belongs now only to itself and cannot be sold ever again. Together with Terra Livre Association we continue to crowdfund to acquire more land and forest to protect in a region of Europe highly endangered by deforestation and wildlife habitat loss.

In a region where 3 to 7 hectares of forest disappear EVERY HOUR, we believe every square meter matter. What is already destroyed cannot be saved, but we can protect what is still alive. Thanks to donors from all over the world, so far 25 hectares of land and forest have been removed from the buying and selling cycle and belong now to a cycle of regeneration and conservation. This land is now safe and at the care of a local community of dedicated guardians.

As the world’s natural landscapes are disappearing at an alarming rate, with devastating consequences for the ecosystem of the entire Planet, there is an urgent need to take action. As a matter of fact, many more trees are needed to tackle both climate change and the massive global decline in wildlife.

One of the biggest threats that wild species face today is the increasing loss of their habitat. By preserving the forests, and regenerating degraded landscapes, we are giving them a chance to survive and thrive.

Protecting the forest means preserving life for present and future generations. Some regions in Romania, Bulgaria, Russia and Ukraine together account for 80% of the last virgin forests throughout Europe. The Eastern European Forest is a source of wealth and unique beauty, vital to the well-being of the region, and the whole planet and its inhabitants.

Everyone knows what is happening in the Amazon, but not many are aware that the same is happening right here in Europe. The Eastern European Forest is the Amazon of Europe and it’s being destroyed at an ever-increasing rate.

This campaign is not just about raising funds, it’s an opportunity to bring awareness, mobilize the citizens and offer them the chance to actively contribute to protect and preserve what remains of the magnificent forest in the Romanian Carpathian Mountains. We invite you to actively engage in the regeneration and protection of an endangered natural landscape to keep biodiversity and wildlife habitats alive and safe.
