Why You Should Consider Crypto Loans for Immediate Cash Needs

Have you ever thought about using crypto loans? Recently, I decided to test out the feature on Binance just to see how it works. It is actually a pretty cool option and definitely worth trying if you ever find yourself in need of urgent cash.

Let me walk you through the process and show you just how simple it is. However, keep in mind that crypto loans are not entirely risk-free. If you do not repay your loan on time, or if the market drops and the value of your collateral falls relative to your loan value, your Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio will rise. If it reaches the liquidation threshold, the platform will have to liquidate your collateral to settle the debt.

The process itself is straightforward and hassle-free, depending on the platform you choose—in my case, Binance. If you want to try it out there, you first need to decide which asset you would like to use as collateral and acquire it. Binance accepts a wide variety of assets for collateral, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Litecoin, and others.

Once you have deposited the asset you want to use as collateral into your account, head over to the loan section on the Binance app. From there, you can choose the type of loan you prefer. I opted for a flexible loan because it allows you to keep the position open for as long as you want, provided your LTV remains healthy. You can borrow amounts starting from as low as one dollar.

It is crucial to keep your LTV low and healthy—ideally around 30% or lower—so that your position stays safe during periods of extreme market volatility. Repaying your loan incrementally, even in small amounts, helps reduce your risk of liquidation, especially since flexible loans compound interest over time.

Ultimately, crypto loans are a fantastic tool because they allow you to access liquidity without having to sell your long-term assets to solve immediate financial problems. All you have to do is secure a loan at a competitive annual percentage rate, often ranging between 4% and 5% APR, while retaining full ownership upside of your underlying crypto holdings. Cheer!
