Let’s Simplify Things! COS.TV! Simplifying it and my review after using it for more than 6 months!

A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!

In this post let us have a look at COS.TV.

COS.TV is a platform where you can go and watch videos.

To simplify COS.TV I would say it is an alternative to YouTube.

My experience of using it for more than 6 months has been mixed.

The main issue of course is the content.

In my opinion it is not in any way in comparison to YouTube, for the simple reason that the quality and variety are not there yet.

That said it is not bad just not as good where it comes to what you can watch.

I have the feeling it has to do with the amount of money the up-loaders/ content providers earn per video.

There is a chain reaction that can work for good or bad in such a project, as it can happen also here in Publish0x.

If the creators don’t get enough you don’t attract the ones creating higher quality content nor have enough variety as this bares certain costs to create.

If you don’t have quality and variety you don’t attract enough users and so goes on.

COS.TV Is, as you can guess, using cryptocurrencies to distribute value.

The main business model is that both the content provider and the viewers should share the value created with COS.TV.

This idea is not new, as you can see it in other projects as well.

It is one that makes such new projects very attractive but you need to have the financial backing for it, as until you get to a certain point you need it badly!

Another issue is the complexity of the payment system.

Instead of having one coin they have four, you can also get ETH, BTC or USDT!

While you watch a video you earn POP, notice that there is a daily limit of how much you can win.

You also earn, by logging in every day, different amounts of POP that grow per day for one week then it resets.

On day three and seven you also might get ETH.

You also get VEST which has a ration of 1:1 with COS, how you get it I honestly haven’t understood it nor do I understand why you need it!

They say it symbolises the power you have over certain products.

Why you cannot simply do the same job with COS I have no idea!

Then you have Chicken!

This one has something to do with your stamina???

Again, no idea why they over complicate things!

Finally, you have the main coin COS.

One of the big issues I see, is that there is no direct conversion of POP to COS.

You have to play a game that looks like a slot machine to win some.

All these makes no sense to me and definitely not to the average user!

In my opinion they should have kept it simple!

It is way to overcomplicated and there is not really a specific amount you earn, as there is not a direct connection between POP and COS.

To summarise it I would say COS.TV has a good potential if they simplify it and manage to attract higher quality creators as well as from a wider variety of content.

Finally, before saying goodbye, I want to let everyone know that I have no sponsors, this post is not sponsored by COS.TV or anyone else whatsoever!

You will only find my personal invitation link to COS.TV which I highly appreciate it if you use it!

The above reflect my personal views and by no means should be taken as a recommendation to use or not use any service or equipment whatsoever!

Please feel free to make any suggestions or comments especially on what you would like to see next being simplified!

Until the next post....

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
