Even newcomers to the crypto world have heard of Banano!
The free cryptocurrency with the largest fun community in the crypto world!
But just in case you haven’t heard about Banano, let me enlighten you.
Banano is and always will be a fee-less cryptocurrency!
There has never been an ICO and it has been only distributed for FREE via various faucets, games and giveaways!
The concept of my blog, as you can figure out from the title is to keep things simple!
So I will not get into technical details, you can easily Google them, all I will say is that Banano is a meme coin similar to DOGE and it has been created as a fork of NANO.
And that the best way to store it is to use Kalium, the official Banano wallet.
The aim of the creators of Banano, is to introduce the world of cryptocurrencies to new users in a fun and costless way!
That said, Banano has by far, in my humble opinion, the most active, fun and supportive community from all the cryptocurrencies I have stumbled upon!
And it is going strong for more than two years now!
Those facts say by themselves a lot about Banano!
Lately the Banano team has ventured into the NFT world with the same concept as the successful Banano coin!
And boy have they created some waves there!
They don’t sell the cards but they give them away for free.
Several giveaways are available all the time, so use the links at the end of the post to access them and keep an eye for them!
The first giveaways have finished and the participation was staggering!
If someone asked me about the demand or buzz around them, I would answer by telling them to visualise what happens when a new iPhone comes out!
Or how people storm shops on a black Friday sale, same thing!
And with those beautiful designs and great community it is to be expected!
So far 11 card designs have been revealed and I find them fantastic, as each one is very unique and at the same time keeps a common template.
Some of the people that got the first cards have them for sale, wrongly in my opinion as I believe due to the great demand the prices will skyrocket pretty fast.
Indeed, as you read this post, transactions are happening with the prices constantly rising!
On the technical side the cards are to be found on the WAX blockchain.
My experience so far with WAX is a positive one, but for more details you will have to wait for the upcoming post about WAX.
