In fact we have three generations of the world wide web: Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0, there are differences with each generation, each one is a new version from the previous one and Web 3.0 is the new Web 2.0. It is the third version of the Web. Let's discuss the differences between them.

Web1.0, Web2.0, to Web3.0

Web 1.0 term used for the earliest version of the Internet, it was centered around static web pages with hyperlinking, the interactivity to the web with new technology was introduced in 2004 by Web 2.0, thereby new features were applied like: Blogging, Social media and videos, that’s what all know about and at least understand. 

Web 3.0

Web 3.0 or in other words Web3, is the next evolution of the internet, it is still an emerging space and not yet clearly defined, and when we talk about Web 3.0 we should also refer to decentralization, and the technologies like Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, while the apps and platforms are centralized with Web 2.0, Web 3 is decentralized which embodies edge computing, Peer-to-Peer, distributed consensus, another point is that Web2 works with currencies like USD, EURO, POUNDS… While Web3 works with Cryptocurrencies like Helium, Chainlink and Filecoin, additionally Web3 introduces AI and Machine learning, with all these changes do you think that Web3 will make other considerable changes in the future?
